Wheel thrown pottery is the term used to describe any ceramic vessel that was created on a spinning wheel. The advantages to wheel thrown pottery is speed and uniformity. The potter can quickly create cups, bowls, vases and more both wide and tall. Mastering the wheel does take some time and dedication.

Many participants have described the experience as therapeutic and freeing. When you are focused on the clay, everything else just disappears. You feel a sense of balance and serenity.
